snack time!

dried apricots and plain almonds. helps get me ready for foundations part II tonight!

i can't get away from two slices of bread to make a sandwich. it's whole wheat! give me a break! (bread + lots of fresh deli turkey + fresh tomato + alvacado + cheese). then a handful of blueberries and blackberrys. and water.

ps - the soreness from 2 days ago is just now setting in.

paleo bfast?

i had breakfast with a friend this morning at "bread & brew" on 20th. great place but the menu was a little limited. i chose a ham and cheese omelet. highly recommend although it came with toast and potatos. i avoided the toast but was too hungry to pass the home fries.

i'm not sure if cavemen at pumkin chili, but i think it meets all paleo criteria - pumpkin, chicken, milk, beans, jalapeno, cumin.

foundations 1

today's foundations wod:

1 lap with 20 lb medicine ball

15-12-9
rings
squats
push ups

1 lap with medicine ball.

10:?? (i forget the seconds)

so i thought that with my crossfit atlanta experience i would do fine on foundations 1. mistaken! if you saw a drenched guy carrying a huge ball down k street today chances are it was this guy. no worries. i can already feel the burn setting in. left no energy behind. success.
